ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Lisa, a proud mother of three beautiful children and wife to an incredibly supportive husband. Dance has been a significant part of my life since the age of 3, and I pursued it passionately until I was 26. As a former dance teacher at renowned schools in Melbourne, I eventually fulfilled my dream of opening my own dance studio. While running the studio was fulfilling, it became exhausting and time-consuming, leading me to prioritize other aspects of my life such as buying a house, traveling with my partner, and starting a family.
IN THE BEGINNING
During my pregnancy with my son, I embarked on the journey of starting my own business. Despite having a clouded mind due to "baby brain," the name "Moon Shine Glitter" stood out to me as the perfect fit. The name resonated with me, symbolizing the joy and happiness that glitter brings, especially to children.
WHY GLITTER?
Glitter has a magical effect on people, especially children, who light up with joy at the sight of it. This joy and happiness inspired me to create a brand that not only spreads glitter but also spreads happiness. Each jar of glitter represents a pot of pure joy and positivity.
THE PROCESS
Ensuring the safety and quality of our glitter was paramount to me. I focused on using natural and pure ingredients for the base gel, making it safe for sensitive skin and children. The glitter itself had to be of the highest quality, A-grade cosmetic glitter, to provide a full coverage effect and be suitable for professional makeup artists.
COVERAGE AND USAGE
I personally hand mix all our gels to achieve the perfect balance of glitter and gel, ensuring a high-quality product for various applications on hair, face, and body. Our glitter is versatile and suitable for multiple uses, making it ideal for different occasions and makeup looks.
